Styled after the grandiose architecture of the Moghul era, this resort was once the site of Maharajah of Alwar's hunting lodge and his favourite garden retreat. It pays homage to Rajasthan's Golden Era through its elegant, unique interpretation of a grand haveli or nobleman's palace. The use of local materials for the period details and lavish interiors incorporate floors of softly-hued pink marble or makrana, domed cupolas and inner courtyards of pale smooth sandstone. Pool Pavilions feature their own private swimming pools, spacious gardens and living area with writing desk. The on-site restaurant offers simple, home-style Indian cuisine as well as a choice of western dishes.
