The hotel was being renovated so maybe we just got the timing wrong. When I made my booking I did enquire about parking, but got no reply. So had to park on the street.
It was a hot and stuffy night. Although the room had a very bright lcd panel to control the air conditioning. The actual air conditioning did not work, so it was really hot in a tiny room. They had a nesspresso machine with just 2 pods, no biscuits an no kettle. The breakfast room was in a state of renovation with fabric sheets providing a false ceiling. But the food on over was ok.
Reception area was unattended when we went to check out. We called and waited for 5 minutes or so. Othe guests bags were left behind reception, unattended and in full view. I really wanted to let the receptionist how disappointed we were with our stay, so this just added to our frustration.
